It is not hard to figure out the reasoning of pro life people. G-d created the world and all living and non living things in the world. Thus, to oppose abortion is to respect the all powerful creativity of G-d. Opposing abortion is a matter of upholding one's faith. I have not made a study of the Bible to figure out how G-d feels about abortion. And even if G-d was opposed to abortion, we don't live in the City of G-d, as far as the Founding Fathers were concerned.
