No, it doesn't. Is exuding trustworthiness the reason they are there?
If they're going to ensure the trustworthiness of the election process, they themselves need to be trustworthy.

Right now they are highly suspicious. If I lived in that voting district, I wouldn't want to drop off my ballot in that ballot box. Instead, I'd either look for a different drop-off box, or I'd just go vote in person.

That's why I don't buy this whole notion of "Guardians of the Ballot Box."
