Respond to of 1574539 It is all in the Call, calling forth G-d to respond to something deeply important to you.. I am a Jew so I address G-d as "Father" all the time. It is in regard to health issues that I get responses quickly, sometimes immediately. How do I know, it is my Father? I hear the Voice and I am filled with emotional rapture. I never pray for superficial things like making money or winning games. I get quick responses on health issues or when I am lost. I was lost in the woods when we first came to Pioneer, CA and had no idea where we were or how to get back. Response was very quick. Only very important things do I pray for. I would never disrespect my Father for asking for mundane things. Sure, money is very important to me, but I would not waste my time conferring with my Father about that. To get a response from G-d, G-d needs to know that you love him with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might, for better or for worse. Never, ever, deceive G-d. If you do so, you are finished and will be abandoned. Once you make a promise to the Father, you must always keep it or you lose the relation. As for the Abortion issue, I have no idea how the Father feels. I never asked. My sense is that G-d would not like it, but would understand, pending the circumstance. The key is to be humble and sincere at all times. And never ask for things that you can bring about through yourself and your work ethic. Asking for strength and courage is fine. Asking that a biopsy is negative is fine too. Asking for your favorite car is stupid and a waste of the Father's time. I can only speak on behalf of Judaism. I only have philosophical book knowledge of Christianity. In fact, I know nothing about Christianity. Play with the Father or deceive G-d in Judaism and bad things will happen to you. And it will happen quick.
