That sucks about your friend but it happens.

Totally agree with you with you about familiarity of MOBO brands and models. How is your 3900XT build aging... very well, I'd guess?

You need not worry about daily price fluctuations. Email or PM me when you iron is getting close to strike and I'll check if there is a better price from a reliable seller.

Your daughter will have a nice new PC.

This is something that's always fascinated me albeit a bit of an oddball. Windows on ARM. I definitely cannot endorse the price in the link. It's basically a Beta product. Nevertheless, I own an older generation of the same type of product. Never used.

Mine is supposed to support Windows11 Pro and paid extra for a 4G radio chip. I wanted to play with it a bit but the idea was to gift it to the son of an old girlfriend in Thailand. He lives in a fairly remote area of the northeast where wired internet is sort of a myth. The wireless towers are good and 4G is pretty strong. It would be like a bridge pc until he gets into high school and like the links I sent earlier it should plug into and work with any TV with a HDMI connection. Almost bulletproof and idiot proof. Just the way I like it! ;-)
