The worst thing Reagan did was start the whole 'government is the problem' movement, along with the failed 'trickle-down economics' BS. He also showed (R)s they just needed a good salesman, like Trump. Then, they'd rip ordinary Americans off behind the facade.

I have absolutely NEVER worshiped Reagan. He is not a president that I respect or admire in any way but if we can be honest and step outside our ideological political vitriol and remember the basket case he inherited from Carter - runaway inflation - there are some lessons to be learned. Reagan, Obama and now Biden were all handed economic disasters that were NOT their fault. The first two handled the disaster; Biden scorecard OTOH looks as though he has made things worse. .........Biden story is not over but I fear the inflation battle will be a long one and the recession caused to try to stem inflation will be ugly. That could lead to history repeating. The only thing in democracies favor is the age of Trump.
