If the repturds don't give a shit about children shot in their schools, why would they care about voters? They get off on violence, or the idea of violence. Then, when it comes for them, they cry like little girls (witness our Supreme Court repturds whining about how they're "targets".) Suck it up, buttercups. Repturds created this world awash in guns and I hope they get to experience its full potential. That said, I'm glad the assailant of Pelosi's husband had only a hammer- if he'd had a gun, Pelosi would be looking at planning a funeral.

I have been appalled at the light sentences given out to the perpetrators of the Jan 6 insurrection. Attempting to overthrow the government through illegal means or violence should be treated the same as attempted murder. If the attempt included violence then the sentence should be served in a Super Max prison. Anyone who has studied Hitler's rise to power in Germany can see his playbook being used by Chump and his MAGA crazies. You just stir up the fear and hatred and the psychopaths among us will go to work on their own.
