koan,

I understand about splitting the ticket, and coat tails and that could work in our favor with some pubs voting to stop outlawing abortion by voting for dems.

The Kansas difference between the polls and voting I think had to do with people not wanting to say they would vote for abortion and then in the privacy of the voting booth voting for it.

I am hoping the same is true for November. People telling pollsters they will vote red, and then vote blue.

There does seem to be big differences in polls and how the voting is going so far!!??

I hope you are right. But it also may be that the people who feel stronger about something are going out to vote early, especially since the Republicans have been making it more difficult for people with a perceived Democrat bias to vote. We will have to wait and see what the real results are after the election. I am hopeful but realistic that the present polls may be correct and we may lose more of our democracy. If so, maybe that needs to happen again, like it did under Trump, for people to see what the Republicans stand for before we may be able to claw back our Democracy from the brink of ruin.
