I remember well the ravages of polio, and know well the history of small pox, the whooping cough and Spanish flu and bubonic plague. Little kids living a life in an iron lung. And how so many infections were certain death like pneumonia and TB, and wounds. We went from an average life span of 30 to close to 80 today. All my life i have watched how ignorance is usually the cause of most grief. Right now I cannot talk sense into the MAGA crowd because they cannot understand liberal thought anymore than if I tried to explain existentialism to them.
