It's not just the TOTAL US Debt of $31 TRILLION that has to be borne in mind ...... IT'S HOW MUCH THAT DEBT IS COSTING THE USA EVERY YEAR, AND RISING -------->

So, a SIMPLE calculation tells us that ..... ------->

31 000 000 000 000 x 0.0401 = $1 243 100 000 000, i.e. about $1.24 TRILLION EXTRA EVERY YEAR, AND RISING !!!!!!!

That ALONE is about 2.5 times what the TOTAL NATIONAL DEBT of $500 Billion was when Donald Trump left office !!!!!!

Gary Kaltbaum is a little confused . Under Trump the deficit was $500 billion not the debt. True though that debt is now 31 trillion and deficit is now 1.5 trillion, and rising, as interest rates go up.
