For the record, GS, NordStream is not “Russian property”. A Russian public /private company - Gasprom - owns 51% of NordStream. The rest is owned by a few major European companies. Gasprom is owned 50.002% by the state - and the balance, by private interests. So, the Russian state owns roughly a quarter of the venture.

The attack against NordStream is just as much an attack against West European interests as against Russia. In fact, more so - the Russians are quickly finding other buyers. But Europe, without the abundant and cheap Russian gas - will have serious problems.

Indirectly, it’s an attack against several poor countries. Affluent Europeans will find a way do deal with the problem of expensive fuel - but not the poor. Also - you need gas to produce fertilizer. This makes it more expensive - or simply unavailable. Quite possibly, millions of people may starve because of this attack.

Gonzalo Lira recorded this video earlier this morning. Among other things, around 5 - 6 minutes he starts talking about the new, more aggressive doctrine for the use of nuclear weapons, adopted by the U.S. recently.

I see that since he got banned from TWTR a few months ago, Lira turned more against America. He quotes sources showing that the U.S. Army is presently “weak”. I can see that the freaky vaccine mandates - and the no less freaky woke culture / indoctrination - likely caused some serious damage and turned away lots of good people. What I don’t like is him actually gloating about it.

There are good things among the doubtful ones. He says interesting things about possible scenarios for the direct US involvement.
