I'm not a Ritter fan but I can't think of any good reason he was banned. I (along with most people here I guess) like the fact that Twitter seems to be moving in a less censorious and apparently less biased direction.

I saw Ritter explain in a video podcast that he decided not to appeal anymore (his appeals were denied several times) — but to simply open a new account (which is against the rules for banned people). He thinks this is a good test of how real and effective is the Musk reform.
