David,
These things are beyond your control. You had great picks.

All of the mergers made the market very nervous. Better to keep head cool for the next move. Good luck.

Sincerely,
Wade

>>>I unloaded USF today. I didn't buy it for a quick turn, but that's the way it worked out. I'll almost assuredly buy back in once the CUL deal is a little less murky.
I had the bad fortune of being long CA, too. That's two in two weeks that I've been on the wrong side of.<<<

Hello David,

David, I don't mean to be critical of your investment decisions in the above two examples or what your investment reasoning and style might be, but I think you picked two of the absolute greatest companies in the universe to invest in and maybe you are letting very short term events whipsaw you. I too have done that a time or two. I own both of these companies and would not sell either anytime soon for any reason. Both of these will rebound very quickly when the street has had a chance to digest their potential takeovers. In the case of the "ca" deal it may not even happen as it is not an agreed upon or even discussed marriage.

Hope it all works out for you. I feel real good about both companies actions of late.
