That article seems to hint there are problems with Genoa??

On the Genoa side, readers started to pick up on the nugget in the HPE ProLiant Gen11 announcement yesterday. We cannot go into details, but I will say it is not HPE’s engineering that makes all of those features unavailable until 1H 2023.

Several other comment he made were that SR platforms are more mature. Of course he didn't point out that SR is very delayed, so its not really a surprise that the platforms are more mature. They had plenty of more time to get them there.

that would seem to mean the Client group will continue to ship products below the channel consumption level to burn off excess inventory created by the sharp decline in PC sales in the second half of this year.

From the sharp peak during covid, which interrupted the long slow decline.

I'm flummoxed by how much Microsoft has shifted toward Google's "app" driven approach. Each windows release requires learning a new language almost.

It is opposite to Medicare, call in every year to see, over the phone, all the new different plans ... the rational numbers are dense upon the line. At least windows fits all, do their up dates with out bother. For me there is too much functionality, things I don't use happening out of the blue.
