If you owned a bike shop and sold bikes for $500 and couldn't keep them in stock you're raise them to $600 and then 700 and then 800. If people continued to buy you'd need less inventory and fewer employees and make even more money. This is what's going on now. If you want lower prices, stop buying. When there's competition lowering prices will self-correct. CEOs need to be told to lower prices and one of the Fed presidents is hinting at it now.
