Trump wanted Desantis to be his running mate in 2024. What a ticket that would have been. Desantis rejected that offer choosing to run in 2028 on his own merits. Good Luck to him. Trump should have left it alone, but this is part of him I don't want him to change. All my opinion.

I think Kristi Noem would make a great VP with Trump. She was actually the one leading Governor’s away from the lock down, business closings and forced jabs. Desantis eventually followed her path and Trump is still a big jab proponent. She’s an informed conservative with Rock steady beliefs and I think it would be great if American woman had a real role model as President one day. Trump/Noem Noem/Desantis Desantis/Lake Lake/? That order would cement the cultural drift and propel American prosperity for decades to come.
