HSU-T: Futures Tick Higher Ahead Of U.S. Midterms

U.S. equity market futures are pointing to a higher open as Americans head to the polls. At last check, S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures were both up some 0.2 per cent. For what it’s worth, markets generally outperform in the wake of midterm elections, though we’re in somewhat unprecedented times with inflation still running hot and concerns over the potential for a looming recession.
