To all,

I have only followed this company a short time and have had a hard time understanding why it is so unloved by the market. Before buying it I was convinced there was something wrong that was not being made public. I have become persuaded that this company is for real but just a rare example of the market's inefficiencies, so I bought it first at 17 and the other day at 16 3/16. Everyone is nervous about the soon to be released earnings and whether "cle" will meet the .60/1.20 numbers. For better or worse I have come to this conclusion: the revenues will be a little less than hoped for but the earnings will be on target or a little above because of improved margins. Unlike a lot of companies the Asian thing will benefit "cle" since they have few stores there but much of the product line comes from there and those costs are presently falling due to this economic situation. When the earnings are released I think the stock will quickly move up barring any unforeseen market calamity.

I respect the opinions and feel for things that long time holders of this stock have and would like to hear your ideas. Unless convinced otherwise I am holding onto this one.

Best to all,
ljm
