the only immediate story out there at the moment is the AGM Monday. Maybe that's the story - and not the cheese tray part either. Maybe the investor survey they did will result in some changes + announcements? As for Berenguela - it will be a mine in a yr and a bit and is expected to make a whack of dough.

Berenguela amongst Peru's biggest projects: Mining Magazine Feb 1998 In the February 98 issue of Mining Magazine there is an article on page 87 titled, "Peru Booms". The article discusses major projects in Peru and the Berenguela project is among them. The numbers for investment and reserves are as previously discussed in this forum. Mine life of 15-20 years is anticipated. The article refers to a 20Ktonne/day open pit operation. ITG reps think 50-100Ktonne/day is more likely. ITG reps have the article in the office.
