It’s not so hard to understand that robbing Peter to give to Paul is not a good foundation for a society. And… that’s the essence of leftism in one simple image. And everyone who has the “right” to do all the robbery and redistributing — is powerful and privileged. Such an “egalitarian” system is - inevitably - an oppressive oligarchy. It’s simple - there are only 2 possibilities - a government can be either small and limited in its powers - OR authoritarian.
