You obviously didn't know that USA/UK/Ukraine were planning to conquer Russia and take back Crimea.
I don't "know" it because I prefer not to be deluded by fantasy. Conquering Russia was pure fantasy even as a plan by the Ukrainians

As for Crimea - The US and Ukraine rightfully didn't recognize Russia taking Ukrainian territory, but other than protest and a few modest sanctions they were not going to do anything about it. Ukraine wanted to take back its territory but it would be unlikely to have made a serious attempt without the attack this year by Russia, and it wouldn't have gotten the support it would need from other countries. By invading Russia greatly increased the risk that they would lose Crimea. Its still low but it was close to zero before.

But that last paragraph isn't even relevant to the issue since taking Crimea in the first place was itself Russian aggression, against Ukraine. That's when Russia started the war that they greatly expanded this year.
The attack had been on since 2014, with casualties in the eastern provinces in the tens of thousands.
Many of those killed by Russian and their puppets, and the vast majority of them killed in 2014 or 2015, with only a couple of dozen civilians dead on both sides last year. And the deaths mostly of combatants and a total that apparently is under 15,000 for the entire period before the attack in February but with Russia killing many more than that since.
The independent countries of eastern Ukraine
There were not independent countries in Eastern Ukraine. There were autonomous entities that had only reached that status because of the Russian aggression against Ukraine in 2014.
For example most recently USA invaded Syria.
You want to argue against that or condemn the US for doing it? Fine. But it doesn't justify the Russian attacks in and since 2014 (well before Syria) or their invasion now. After all Ukraine didn't invade Syria. Also the US didn't annex Syrian land.
