Stu, the 3 tricks:

I see Zip, Jazz, and Click as IOM's 3 big winners. The tape drives contribute but they have well established competitors and there's nothing special about IOM's contribution to this segment.

So far zip is the dominate profit center of the company. I don't know what the market cap of this company would be without zip but I bet it would be a mere shadow of itself. And that's the scarry part of the IOM valuation. Everything riding on one product.

Jazz has the potential to become what zip is becoming. The standard removable storage medium in it's size class with no significant competition in sight. The market for these products is growing and IOM is the only company with the capacity to deliver world wide, right now, and for the near future.

As Jazz follows the path of zip in it's market segment it will begin to lessen the overall risks the company faces by being dependent on one product. Less risk = greater valuation.

Click's timing is excellent. Digital photography is coming on strong and PDAs are out there in significant quantities and growing fast enough to provide fertile ground for Clik's introduction and subsequent growth. There are a lot of new digital cameras that will be ready for Xmas 98.

By now IOM has got the product development cycle down pretty good. They know what segment to target and how to deliver the right product to it. With growing brand name recognition it's just going to get easier as we go forward.

There seems to be a lot of cooperation with other companies in the development of click and a growing acceptance by other technology companies that IOM is the company to partner with in the removable storage field. This will only get better with each success.

I know we've got a great company with a bad stock right now but I see our story unfolding quite nicely and I really don't think it's going to take much longer to reflect itself in the stock price. The earnings expectations are ripe for meet or exceed and the growth plan is in place. Should be a nice string of announcements as we go forward and steadily rising trading ranges to follow.

I have a pretty good feeling about the effectiveness of the ad campaign from S bateh's posts and my own observations. It looks to me like the bigggg risk is going to pay off. It will all look so perfectly sane in hind sight.

Pardon me for over answering your question. I got carried away.
