Most people are hypocrites and pick and choose what freedoms they want to support.

I am opposed to abortion because my wife and mother had them against my will. But then again it wasn't my body, just my soul.

But I do support others making the choice for themselves. So, in the end, I am in the free choice camp.

Free choice is sometimes a bitch.

There we go, it is now a virtual dead heat in the Nevada Senate race, with Laxalt up by .1% or about 800 votes, with 10% of the votes outstanding.

I will check again the votes outstanding and update my view.

Cortez-Masto was able to come back through a surge of votes on her behalf in Clarke County. She is now up 6.9% in Clarke County, which includes Las Vegas, Henderson, Mesquite and Laughlin. I take it this most recent batch came from Las Vegas. Remember what I said, a Democrat needs to win Clarke County by about 8% to win.

5% outstanding votes in Clarke County and 11% in Washoe County ( primarily Reno/Sparks), with 10% of outstanding votes in the State.

Looks like Cortez- Masto wins if Reno/Sparks comes through for the Dem. That's always what it boils down to. The Dem votes are in Clarke and the rest of the State is fanatically Red outside of Reno/Sparks.

Carson City has 15% of votes outstanding and that's a Republican city. But it is only showing a 10% lead for Laxalt. He needs to do better there to win. Other counties have been going 75-80% for Laxalt. But over 90% of those votes have been counted and there just aren't enough people living in those counties to matter a lot if Las Vegas/Henderson/ Reno/ Sparks continue to come through for Cortez-Masto.

It's gonna be close.

But I still think Cortez-Masto ekes out a win.

There are no recount laws in the State and the Dems hold all the positions of power.

Governor Sisolak will lose.
