Yep! Why I'm Long, You're Long is beyond me!

Instead of sitting still there has been plenty of opportunity with the other 3.

You could have run with any one of the others....created a position in here, out of profits from a trade, while waiting for something to happen here which I did. You're playing this with your money, I'm playing it with money I made elsewhere.....ie profit off the prior trade.

What I refer too....when I left Seek last fall here were the prices, InfoSeek[13], Lycos [33], Excite [33], Yahoo [51]

Percent chg since then...................

Infoseek is up 3.37%
Lycos is up 25.38%
Excite is up 35.8%
Yahoo is up 27.63%

So here it is 4 to 5 months later and this thing ain't done squat. Whereas it has been banging like the rest, SEEK, has left little margin for error on timed trades to the long side.

In simple terms you have had to buy it on dips, and hope it gets back to the last high. Whereas with the others you could have bought just about anywhere, and they would have made you a profit just hanging on as they set new highs.

FWIW.

From what I read, Excite is Default on Web/TV....Web/TV is part of MicroSoft......MicroSoft is coming out with Yukon. Just a matter of time and Yukon will be default search, don't you think?

You have to watch the pipe. By pipe I mean, and visualize it this way.

You have a pipe pouring water into the sink, got the picture?

Now if you had two pipes you would have more flow, more water right?

Watch how the water flows into these Search Guides,[Eyeballs are water] Where is the traffic coming from, Netscape?

MicroSoft is sucking up all the water by putting IE in all the new boxes.

I still can't see a pipe for Seek other than NetScape? Is there one?

MicroSoft is systematically grabbing all the pipes........danger..danger..danger.
