Why does it matter?

Good grief.

The defense attorney for the attacker will make it clear: Because not seeking police help after phoning for it means that Pelosi didn't feel that he was in danger. And why might that have been the case? Because he knew the attacker somehow? He did call him by his given name during the phone call. Was he invited into the residence?

Conspiracy theories, my as*. These are reasonable questions anyone would ask.

They are central to a charge of breaking and entering.
