Joe, Another piece of Ericsson news, from China: Ericsson Wins $182m Chinese Telecom Expansion Order [CND] Ericsson has won a US$182 million contract from Jiangsu Post and Telecommunications Administration for the expansion of its Jiangsu-province GSM cellular telephony network, Newsbytes reported. The work, part of the third expansion phase of the network, will take total capacity past two million users. Ericsson will supply AXE switching and radio base stations. The contract also covers servicing and work is due to be done towards the end of 1998. (Ray ZHANG)
