I've been thinking more about Half-Price. If you look around at the current state of North American culture, it has become very infantiliized, overrun with references to superheroes, a genre created to amuse pre-teens, even while so many ads you see on TV include talking animals and animated characters, again something created for children. That's part of what makes Half-Price so thought-provoking. It depicts what infantilism really is when put in the hands of actual children rather than adults who have failed to move beyond the mental frame of children. LC
