There is a widespread effort to disqualify Trump, which may work. It is wrong-headed and anti-American. DeSantis will be a great president but it is wrong to have a media cabal and the political class reject him.

It will be futile for me but I will support Trump until the bitter end. I wouldn’t have because I really like DeSantis.

But I’m a fucking American first.

Rarebird,
All a Desantis/Trump feud accomplishes is mutual erosion of support, which is good for Dems, since the Republicans are doing their dirty work for them.
Right, but let's say DeSantis comes out on top, and Trump finally fades away from relevancy. The Democrats will no longer have the Trump card to play.

That's why I suspect the Democrats will do everything possible to keep Trump relevant.

They will do it openly, such as Impeachment 3.0.

They will do it covertly, such as silently supporting the Q Continuum.

Trump is now a gift that keeps on giving to the Democrats, and the Dems would be fools to stop accepting them.
