Last,

Your opinion please.

EFII in December preannounced warnings of decreased revenues in upcoming quarters and Street hammered it down from mid 40's to 13. It has been slowly climbing back since then and is now at 20 3/4. In at 14, should I take profits or does this have more to run?

VLNC 5 3/4 (+1 3/16), up 26% today on 4 times normal volume. Quarterly report revealed nothing significant...still no profits. Speculation on VLNC thread that previous CEO was selling large shares to exercise options at lower price which drove price down. Although, a company with troubled past, it supposedly is the closest of three (ULBI and LITH the others) to bring Lithium Ion Polymer rechargeable batteries to market ... forecasts for this quarter. I believe there is a conference call Feb 17th. Tremendous market for this product when factory starts production. This company may bear watching. (See VLNC thread for more interesting reading)

TIA for your insight and advice.

Peter

Where do you think that the exit price should be for AMAT considering the string of earnings downgrades for the rest of the year?

LS, What is your short term target for cube? I was thinking it might break through the 200 dma (around 23.00) and hit 25 in the near future. Looking over the chart for the last year, it seems that 7-8 point moves up and down are common for cube. It was 18 at beginning of Feb, where I went long, and is how I came up with my 25 target. Is this a foolish way to plan an exit price- going off the chart movements of the past? TIA Nathan

Last,

Some picks/ones to watch from a relative novice. Last time I did anything like this, it was KLIC at 19 3/4, I apologized for it going down that day, and now it is much higher. Moral to the story, patience and humility.

QGLY. I have friends who watch this religiously, and I have taken to looking at it as a hobby. Earnings are due out in the next week or so, and I see a rebound in the making. I traded it earlier this week for a point, my look at the chart says it will be moving, but don't ask me when.

NCTI. Made a move on Tues on big volume, retraced yesterday on still above average volume, I like their technology, I don't like their float, but at 1 3/32, as you have pointed out before, a small move does as much for the wallet as big moves on the major league stocks.

Jenna, here's hoping that SCIXF's earnings of .13 vs. .10 estimate moves it and that the acquisition news is well received.

Good luck to all,

David

I am paper trading your hit list. Could you evaluate my choices to see that I am doing this correctly. (I used 1/4 above high at 11:15 EST because I was not sure how to figure what the tick movement was for each particular stock)

ASND in at 33 9/16 stops set at 38 5/8 and 30 7/8

GE """"""" 78 3/8 """"""""""""" 90 1/8 " 72 1/8

KMET """ 20 1/2 """""""""""""" 23 9/16 " 18 7/8

AMMB """ 32 " """"""""""""""" 36 13/16 " 29 7/16

BGEN """ 44 1/2 " """""""""""" 51 3/16 " 40 15/16

MSPG """ 49 1/4 """""""""""""" 56 5/8 " 45 5/16

NT """""" 47 1/4 """""""""""""" 54 3/8 " 43 1/2

Stops are set at +15% and -8%
I will set higher stops when the stocks get a little farther past my entry point so a greedy MM cannot grab them before a run up

Thank You
David
