A series of news releases that buoy the stock could precede the LLY decision. If my recollection is correct, if Ligand does not choose a drug then they get money and LLY purchases X shares of stock at a premium to the current price. Quite an incentive to get the price up.

Henry, I was expecting 1-2-3 punch and crossing 15 level. I have seen 1 and 1/2 punch so far. I am still expecting at least 2 more positive PR output from LGND. I also hold Feb. calls both ITM and just OTM. I will cash in my calls and will add some shares or LGNDW soon. I think, based on my experience for the past 16 months or so I will predict that this year peak of 20+ doable. All the best for tomorrow and days to come. -Karun
