I think LUMN is interesting long term (and more interesting now for me since you strike me as one that reviews the balance sheet and income statements pretty extensively). I would still expect it to go lower short term with year end tax loss selling and since many people held it for income. But that may not be such a bad thing, if they could buy back a lot of shares under $5 they would really have some impressive capital gains potential.

LUMN. Why own a stock whose management looks like they dont give a rat's ass about shareholders?
The stocks is more than cut in half since I think its been discussed here. People own utility like stocks for their dividend and now there is none. they could easily have dropped there dividend to the point where they said they will pay a 4.5% dividend and buy back less stock but they did not do that. If they are that stupid about that what else are they stupid about?
