I just logged into their site to check out the MiniDisc players... The cheapest model is $199.95 w/ all of others over $400. Isn't the MiniDisc a rather old product? Does anyone remember when it was first introduced? The more I think about it, the better I feel about Zip's chances. Can anyone name a Sony product that isn't at least 10-20% more expensive then the competition? I'd guess that the HiFD comes out in July w/ volume by September. I'd guess that the price will drop down to $150 by Christmas. Anything more and it competes w/ Jaz & SparQ. Anything less and they'd be losing lots of money. -Andrew
