As usual [apart from his mistake about CO2 being a problem and offering to fight Putin for Ukraine] Elon has got it right: What I don’t get is - why does he need a poll about reinstating Trump? If Trump is interested in coming back - let him do so. End of story.
For decades I've been pondering voting to determine various things. It's not a simple thing though I guess most people think it is.
As we know from our own brains, complex things that make good decisions based on vast complexity of incoming and previous information need a mechanism to decide what the heck to do next. Voting by neurons is how our brains work. Even totalitarian regimes that purportedly operate on a single individual's mind are really decided by that individual's consideration of the ideas of those he chooses to not kill.
He's normally a megalomaniac male but women are as murderous as Hell as we are now seeing with Liz Truss, Ursula von den Kraut, Annalena Baerbock, Yulia Nuke Them Tymoshenko, Hillary "We Came We Saw He Died ... cackle cackle cackle Clinton, Sanna, Jacinda, Samantha Powers, the Rices, Victoria Nuland = they love to see men fight and they fancy the alpha males [same as throughout the mammalian and primate animal world - no doubt there are exceptions]. It might be that women like men fighting more than men do. Left to our own devices, without women around, I guess most men would prefer to go fishing, play golf, laze around under a tree - no need for all the bower bird drama, peacock parade, and conflict conquest that we activate to attract women.
Back on track Mq...
Elon wants voting on Trump's twittering because Elon likes publicity and fun, and asking everyone is a good way to get the core of the Twitter problem into the public sphere to consider the issue of what's Hellscape and what's free speech to offend, insult, denigrate and be wrong.
Having upvotes and downvotes is a good way to filter individual comments so that the Twitter consciousness becomes an actual thought-scape like our brains when they are not schizophrenic, in trauma, poisoned, deceived, epileptic, etc.
Upvotes and downvotes could also apply to individuals within Twitter, not just individual posts.
Twitter voting could be used for all sorts of things. Even elections. People could vote on the validity of an individual's identity. People could be rewarded for doing good voting because reliable, sensible voting adds value. Every time your vote is a good, reliable one, you'd get a byte or two of added value to your own voting value.
Money is another example of voting. People vote with their feet on the value of any particular money = they sell when they get scared of a unit of value. They buy when they get carried away with the wonders of bitcoin or some bitcoin brokerage.
Of course good old Tradable Citizenship requires voting to establish relative values.
Voting is pretty much the fundamental principle of existence. When wave functions are in phase, they peak, when out of phase, they cancel - quantum physics and reality itself work by voting to determine what is observed and upvoted into reality for subsequent action. Each individual does their own upvoting and uploading into the great collective which then decides by vastly impossibly collectivist voting what happens next. Even the best Climate Models would have trouble computing that = they couldn't. The best climate models couldn't even calculate an individual cat's brain function let alone actual climate.
Even Klaus Schwab and his ridiculous megalomaniac "Ve Vill Rule Ze Vorld - bwahahaha" ignorant, stupid and arrogant WEF gang of co-conspirators wouldn't have a clue. Imagine Jacinda, Justin Castro, and co deciding for all of us. Kim the Fatter might be better - there's not much crime or rioting Burn Loot Murder, Antifa going on in North Korea. Actually, both are Hellscapes. I prefer Elon's idea of Twitter votes. And combine that with a constitution for private property rights, including Tradable Citizenship.
Elon has gone on to the next big thing with Twitter [and Neuralink]. Tesla is pretty much a done deal for him. He succeeded, with glory.
Voting is the basis for Twitter. Identity and voting are fundamental units of consciousness. Elon started out on that with PayPal. Voting to agree identity, and voting to promulgate ideas are essential ingredients of consciousness to enable action in reality.
When Twitter first came out, our supergeek son, and his supergeek friend, and I considered it. They couldn't see the point of dopey tweets about what people had for breakfast and how it started out. I wasn't so sure. I haven't used Twitter other than when I was following something that led there, partly because I hate the Wokesphere [Facebook, Twitter, Google and the Loony Liberal Left]. I want hate speech permitted. I hate them all. Hate hate hatey hate hatiest. I hate being suppressed and murdered by Moslems. I don't hate homosexuals apart from the ones I do. I'm just trying to think of one, hmmm...can't think of one, that's odd. I bet there are a lot once I get going. I will now explain my theory on homosexuals ...
Contrary to the ideas of ignorant evolutionists, and religious cranks, homosexuals are NOT going against nature. They are NOT an evolutionary dead-end, despite what dumb simplistic evolutionists think - "They don't have babies and nature requires babies so they're ipso facto unnatural and dead-end perversions against nature".
Briefly, if that was true, they'd have been filtered out of the gene pool long ago. But like sickle cell anaemia, homosexuality has NOT been filtered out. And according to dinkum homosexuals, not the QWERTY+ people who transition depending on the day and cash flow, they were born that way. I have no information to say they were created in infancy by dominant mothers etc, so I'll go with what they say = that's how they always were. Seems that way to me. And it's absolutely not a choice just as I didn't choose to start drooling when I see certain kinds of females.
Homosexual men are lucky in one way = they are not attracted to women and thereby avoid the ball and chain effect of wife and children. Homosexual men are free to pursue their glories without hindrance. They even go nuts in their frenzy to be the biggest best brightest because they still want to be attractive and don't have a wife nuking them for spending too much time at the office and not changing nappies on the babies and not vacuuming, doing the dishes and cooking dinner, or hiding in the pub or at the golf course, while she spends all his money before divorcing him for greener fields. Going gay would be pretty good these days now that stoning to death of homosexuals is considered poor form.
In fact, many homosexual men who were perhaps ambivalent did actually marry women, as cover, in the closet, for self-protection and self-identity reasons, fear and confusion. Bruce Jenner for example.
Back on track = homosexual men have brothers, cousins, fathers, uncles and others = they are part of a tribal gene pool. The success of the gene pool is what human life was about. And still is to a large extent.
Having a proportion of homosexual men who are unbounded by heterosexual constraints of wife, children, fear of losing jobs, means those individuals can create great benefits for their relatives and gene pool, so that their brothers etc with the same Y chromosome and other genes can proliferate and win in competition with other gene pools. Sure, it's bad for the individual homosexual's genes, but his genes are replicated throughout his tribal gene pool so hooray for the tribe vs the tribe whose members are all heterosexual and beaten down by their wives and dragged down by their children.
Obviously there's a balance. Too many homosexuals and there wouldn't be children. Too few and no glory. Like sickle cell anaemia genes - bad luck for the individual with the double sickle cell gene, but good for two of their siblings who get malaria protection. The one with no sickle cells carries normal risk. So the tribe with the "useless and damaging" gene wins against tribes without that gene. Maybe that's a bad analogy, but hopefully it helps explain.
Sometimes the main problem is in the stupidity of the regular heterosexual men who attack the homosexual men. Moslems for example. Good riddance to that ignorant, stupid and arrogant 7th century murderous ideology of throwing homosexuals off buildings and stoning them to death. Similarly, look what the English did to Alan Turing who saved them against Germany - chemical "castration", and prosecution, leading him to suicide = that was evil. en.wikipedia.org
A few great homosexual men = Alan Turing, Tim Cook, Queen, ...
Some men can be both heterosexual and phenomenally successful both in their own child producing efforts and glory - for examples Elon Musk, Genghis Khan, Donald Trump
Note that they spent little time changing nappies, doing dishes, vacuuming ....and were not mated for life to one woman. On the contrary, they were very keen on swarms of women. Genghis Khan was a murdering conqueror and established a great empire for success, with rape, pillage and plunder normal for him. About 70 million descendants. Elon Musk is modern man writ large - establishes value by voluntary trading and creation of great and glorious new technology solving large human problems. Donald Trump did pretty well at getting rich via buying, selling, building, renting and was very successful politically to the betterment of humanity [despite what LLL think]. Those are not slippers and a couch monogamous heterosexual men with children and family obligations weighing them down.
Elon is hunting big game with polling in Twitter. He's right. The sky's the limit with Twitter. I had hoped QUALCOMM with Eudora would do it. They had Eudora which was the gateway to the internet. But they failed in imagination and let it fizzle out to zero - though I ranted in SI hoping they'd figure it out. I know many Qualcommies read SI.
Elon Musk has done many of my ideas*. Now he's off and running with the Eudora one but using Twitter as the mechanism.
