Doug McGregor is great [because he almost duplicates what I've been ranting for all this year and long before]. He even did like me and got annoyed and called people stupid, which is not good form and he did it only once in frustration. Stupid, ignorant and arrogant are a horrible combination but unfortunately very common. So I'll forgive him that error to which I'm prone.
Other than that, he's perfect, including getting to the economics and Virtuous Victorian Values issues such as trust, and that trust was the basis of so much of the USA's success. Like hordes, I'm gun-shy [and have been for a decade and more] that USA is a trustworthy financial partner. Being robbed via dilution has been decades in process. But now macro-robbing is becoming normalized.
Unlike me, he didn't go to the conclusion that I did before the war, that the USA and horrible little sidekicks like Boris bloody Johnson, Liz Truss and the latest PM, are stupidly forcing Russia into submission to China so that once again, Genghis Khan's descendants will be ruling Asia as far as Hungary, Finland, Kaliningrad, Poland, and Turkey. This time though, they will be using Virtuous Victorian Values to do like the Great and Glorious British Empire and PAY people for what they produce and to do what the British Empire required in local adminstration, using the industrial, scientific, technological productivity of England to duplicate the success around the world. England was tiny. China is huge. So China has the potential to really make it happen.
Unfortunately for China, they don't have the necessary Christian, John Stuart Mill, John Milton, Habeas Corpus, Common Law, Magna Carta, We the Free, foundations that made England so phenomenally successful and which the USA largely adopted and improved [in the early centuries]. China still functions in an hierarchical emperor way with brutal suppression of dissenting individuals.
If USA wasn't so stupid, and Euroserf rulers too, such as Herr Gruppenfuhrer Stoltenberg, Ursula von den Kraut, Annalena Baerbock, Scholz, and the other stupid, ignorant, arrogant, murderous megalomaniacs such as Liz Truss [funny that Lavrov showed her ignorant, arrogant, stupidity], Russia could have and maybe still could be, made a buddy of Eurostan with the border of China at the Great Wall and Korea, rather than at the Gates of Vienna.
The way it's going, if the stupid USA succeeded in their absurd aim of making Russia weaker, skooshed, submissive and defeated, China would simply start driving trains, trucks, cars and aircraft across Russia, buying it up as they go, installing 20 million or 100 million spare people as they go, all the way to Eurostan.
If Russia is made poor and defeated enough, the Russians would have no option but to sell to or submit to the Made in China behemoth. West to the Urals would be the least. West to Westphalia maybe.
Already, China is pretty much taking over Siberia by economic and demographic processes. The stupid [there you go again Mq, just stop it], ignorant and arrogant Yanks and Pommy Bastards have bombed the gas pipelines so that Russia has no choice but to send the gas east and south at lower, much lower, prices and higher transport costs.
It shouldn't take an economic genius to figure out that Germany getting no gas out of those pipelines and no oil coz sanctions is worse for Germany than for Russia. There is a thing called consumer surplus which means the buyer actually gets more benefit than the seller. $10 of gas from Russia can produce $1000 of car in Germany [or something like that ratio]. No gas = no car = a BIG loss for Germany.
Right now, a niece has booked travel to flee Berlin to come to NZ for 4 months, with child, and husband to follow for most of the time. Things are bad in Germany. Our daughter and family are right now in an airliner flying 10 km high at nearly 1000 km per hour heading for Saigon, for a couple of weeks, before going to Melbourne, permanently, after 17 years in Londonistan. He kept the bank computer systems working [network engineer]. They have two talented sons age 11 and 9. If London is nuked now, at least they have escaped.
There should be what I wrote long ago = Crimea is Russian. Eastern Ukraine is independent [now Russian but good enough]. Russia becomes part of Eurostan's happy collective. China is made a friend not an enemy. Taiwan should be kept independent, like Donetsk, Ireland, England, Australia, Canada, USA ... many places can be happily autonomous, but still trade and fit in with neighbours and others.
Then reconstitute the UN from a WWII Victors Club to an extremely circumscribed commons protectorate on a federal basis, not a Bossy Bastards Collectivist Kleptocratic Suffocatocracy. Do NOT let Helen Clark or Jacinda anywhere near it. Nor Justin. Nor Sanna, Ursula, Liz, Annalena, Hillary, etc. Wokesters need not apply.
It's great that there are people like Doug McGregor in USA who are taken seriously by many as it gives hope that USA will not go totally bananas but will recognize that the maniacs were in charge. Imagine the End of the World so that Hunter could indulge his hedonistic nihilism in cash, cocaine, concubines, booze and baccy. What an ignominious end to a great achievement in human history, that took people to the moon and back and enabled Elon to create a fantastically successful electric car that might even go autonomous and QUALCOMM to create mobile Cyberspace = the most fantastic thing that ever was created since the dawn of time and the creation of the four nucleotides that made DNA and biological intelligence. Mobile Cyberspace is better even than that. We need to go back to the creation of the four forces of the apocalypse to match It. [Stong, gravitational, electromagnetic, and weak forces]. It's success is just getting going. Note correct use of apostrophe.
The expression "artificial intelligence" is a poor description of It. It's natural intelligence produced by people, who are natural intelligence produced by natural selection by war, women and natural justice [Darwin Awards]. That's playing semantics really - artificial, natural. But "artificial" kind of implies somehow not legit. Not as good as natural.
