Andriy Yermak, who heads the Ukrainian presidential office, stated in a virtual interview that the Kremlin did not propose such a pause to the Ukrainian government. “We have not [had] any official application from the Russian side about some conversations, some negotiations,” he said.

With all the censorship and propaganda, it requires a lot of extra reading to find out where the truth lies. It was the same way with the US wars in Syria, Libya, Iraq, and Bosnia, but at least, there were reports from Wikileaks, UK Guardian, and a few other progressive newspapers reporting on the wars. With a Democrat-led war, they've all gotten the message to support it, just as they did with the Steele dossier, Trump Russia collusion, and DNC server hack conspiracies.
