"We are almost all Jacksonians here." Yes, that line and the post you and LB linked was what I was referring to.
One way to grasp the difference between the two schools is to see that both Jeffersonians and Jacksonians are civil libertarians, passionately attached to the Constitution and especially to the Bill of Rights, and deeply concerned to preserve the liberties of ordinary Americans. But while the Jeffersonians are most profoundly devoted to the First Amendment, protecting the freedom of speech and prohibiting a federal establishment of religion, Jacksonians see the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms, as the citadel of liberty. Jeffersonians join the American Civil Liberties Union; Jacksonians join the National Rifle Association. In so doing, both are convinced that they are standing at the barricades of freedom.
I agree with this. We would not have the First Amendment any longer if we didn't have the Second Amendment. We know this is what they were aiming to do with the censorship programs installed with the social media companies, which is being contested now in Missouri v. Biden. The EU is still plowing forward with it, using their DSA. Message 34087619

The problem I have with Jackson is allowing the government patronage to pervade, which is what we're dealing with now. So I was also referring to this post: Message 34065191

Because of the now Public/Private partnership patronage, they could well get donations from people like Soros for the Justice department. Who's going to stop them? At some point, the Second Amendment may come into play. A Sheriff with LOTS OF DEPUTIES.
