This is a clear change of corporate direction from their primary focus on the
high-performance end of the removable market ever since the EZ135 disaster.

I think they've made a wise move.

While I continue to remain bearish on the stock, and was surprised at how terrible
the earnings report was, I don't believe SyQuest is dead and buried quite yet.


I agree with you 100% for the first time. Though SYQT'll be in the
dark woods for sometime, if it hits my target price, I'll get some
again. I'll put them on the shelf till the light(SYQT's superb
technology) + new direction might lead them out of this miserable
damp woods. Management has to show a lot more proof to convince me
to buy SYQT @current price. This new direction is very interesting,
so I'll put this baby on my watch list again.
