WASHINGTON, Feb 6 (Reuters) - The chairman of a Congressional panel introduced a resolution on Friday calling on the IMF to sell bonds to raise money rather than rely on the United States and other countries for financial support.

I'd like to see how far they got selling bonds for their schemes instead of sending all of their lackeys out to twist our arms for the money. The only reason for the IMF's existence in the first place is so that international banks can have someone else shoulder the risk for lucrative but highly risky "investments". The IMF's mere exisence is a large part of the problem. You tend to be a lot more cautious when you are playing with your own money. Let them go to the market for insurance like everyone else, rather than relying on the Force of the State to discount their risk. The IMF, tool of the Bankers and their paid lackeys, the politicians.
