Civil Forfeiture is theft.

It allows armed agents of the government to steal cash, cars, boats, houses, or any other property. No judge or jury has to convict anyone of anything. They just take it.

The rules are so vague, anyone can be targeted. Anyone the government is suspicious of.

As is so common, this power was originally approved, for a good cause. It was supposed to be used only against drug dealers and gangs. But, once government has a new power, it can be (and, sooner or later, will be) directed against anyone.

Civil Forfeiture is obviously unconstitutional: arbitrary punishment, arbitrary search and seizure.
