I have spoken to many who served under Hitler. And they were quite open with me since they had no idea I was Jewish. In fact, I am half French and half Italian. What I keep on hearing is Jews failure to conform socially speaking and them keeping to themselves and not integrating. They would not play with our children. Sure, there are many devout Christians who view Christianity as Judaism with an add on. There is never a good reason for hatred. The reasons behind it are always strange, bizarre, irrational, never make sense. I once knew and caught a person ( a tenant) placing swastikas on an apartment building I owned. Once he got caught ( I instilled cameras) he said he did it because one of my employees use to take his favorite spot in the garage.
