TJ, I know most of the stories you write about even if not in such details as I read your mother book twice.

Still it is not clear what you are trying to say or define in one short paragraph.

My post intended to explain that the freedom of taught and independence of questioning the rightful way of life as broadly is explained in the Scripture of the Jewish heritage induced many to achieve things that other did not or where forgotten, due to prevailing lack of education and respect for the other.

(REMARK - written history or records we discover now are after all a very small part of human evolution from hominids to humans.)

An interesting personality that I justs learned about is Avicenna ( en.wikipedia.org ) a polymath that lived about 1,000 years ago at a time today Russia was nothing more than a wasteland with various illiterate tribes spread all over.

I strongly suggest to read about this personality which if he would have been living today would be one of the most known scientists.
My point in summary is that we as humans changed very little in our heritage and conduct if compared to the creativity and inquiry of human kind that enabled such major technological advances.

I learned that very long ago when traveling on a Safari in Kenia and realised that even living in a rudimentary stone age condition democracy and human interaction between themselves and also in relation to sexes did not change only the way of expressing it changed..

I am certain the King Solomon did not recite his poems from the "Songs of Songs" to his beloved women via a cellphone <gg> but if updating the content in today language you will realize that nothing changed in human character within the span of around 2,500 years.
