Jay,

I actually threw out a Commodore 64 drive; should have caught me 4 years ago! But I did have an early 64 serial number 30,000 or so and all the major chips were socketed so I kept those and threw the machine out since it had some bad RAM. So if you need one of those chips let me know.

Cheers,

Norm

I actually have TRS-DOS, LSI-DOS, MULTI-DOS, CP/M. I did/do Legal investigation on the TRS systems (Z80 based) and have what I consider to be a fairly complete reference library! The current system that I use, when I use is a Model 4p w/40 meg HD, 1 dbl sided 360K and 1 dbl sided 720K drive, real time clock. I really enjoyed programming on that class of computer because with studying and work one person can actually 'do it all'. ( I even have the source code for the operating system - LSI - which is the one I use the most. ) I also mention that I have upgraded the processor to the Hitachi Z80B replacement which allows for a 256K memory, which is used for page swapping, spooling and ram disk!

How,s that?
