Those problems are already taken care of and a lot of the quality is dependent on the pc and the cards used full or half duplex.the delay can be from various things but most likely bad lines fron europe.They get no royalties just sales and sales.

Ron,
I use Iphone5 from computer to telephone when talking from Canada to Israel and I find the quality to be quite satisfactory. In fact I have now switched all my long distance calls to family to use Delta 3. like others have said, a lot depends on the PC you use, you must at least have a full duplex card.
