We have a newer large screen smart TV in our guest house which streams flawlessly using our Starlink satellite broadband so I can find my way around the user interfaces pretty well.

My main reason for choosing a cheaper solution for the old Sony TV is that, although it is working well right now, it is old enough that it will probably go toes up in the future. When that day comes, I’ll likely replace it with a smart TV. But I’ll wait to cross that bridge when I get to it. The wife & I are also Apple fans. We have 2 MacBooks, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones & 3 iPods (shame they are no longer made) between us. I’ve never messed with Apple TV but will surely check it out if/when the time comes.

The Amazon FireStick Lite and the 4 port HDMI switch work perfectly. Install was straightforward and I’m liking the Alexa voice control on the remote. UPS delivered them an hour ago.

A great, inexpensive streaming option for sure!
