<<Could you please tell us specifically what blockchain is good for? Just name a few benefits.>>

Short answer. Bitcoin BTC. Used in several places in Africa, it's the preferred medium of exchange for larger amounts of money (for them, not us typically). Zimbabwe specifically. The BTC volatility could viewed as a problem, but compared to the Zim dollar, not necessarily so. USD's used to be the preferred currency, but the government has spent a lot of resources controlling that too. BTC not yet widespread, agreed, but everyone there does have a least one mobile phone. Maybe no food, but they do have a mobile phone.

Blockchain is a distributed ledger. Using computers, the ledger is replicated amongst many owners. Thus it is difficult to fiddle the account.

I don't mind critics of crypto. I typically like to listen to everything they say, as they just could be right on something or other.

For example, this guy is a critic of PAXG (a gold ownership "crypto")

"A gold backed crypto currency is useless"

Mentioned here. Watch for a few minutes.

This is where I disagreed with "Heresy Financial" and I do watch a lot of his videos. In fact, I find it hard to understand,,, why he doesn't understand? A lot of his stuff is very good. It's possible he has his own products to sell.

Sure, I buy physical gold. But, if I wish to keep some in storage and wish to transfer it, I would prefer to use a blockchain (PAXG). The problem with gold is that there is a lot of fake stuff out there. If the price goes up that problem will go exponential. Thus, a blockchain (a crypto) is better imho as a complete record is kept of the transactions.

Here is a good one. Nigeria. Educational. I like this one. It's is music to my ears. Nigerians know a good scam if anyone does -g-

Yes CBDC's are not to be trusted, mainly because of misuse by central authorities. They are coming our way.

This guy will never buy a Crypto again, I think the real reason is he never learned to make or by a cold wallet.
