Yeah, I used to know nearly every car name, but that was back when I could only drive Hot Wheels and HO cars. Fill'er up. What'll that be - Regular or Ethyl?

I don't even know what Ethyl is, but I remember that question.

Your boss would have hated my dad. Green stamps all the way. Great cars growing up though, until the '80's when they all started to become rust buckets with emission controls that killed all the power.

Drove my first AI car with control guidance on a vacation last year. It fought me a little on intersections when it freaked out over the painted white turn lines.

Also had an experience with a newfangled smog saving car - a Cadillac that turned itself off at every stop. Very strange. I would not want to be in one that had a problem with the alternator.

I've worked for power companies. I know what EV cars will do to a grid once they become mandatory. It is not going to be pretty.

>>>Gasoline blends had names then, as did the cars we fueled up. Starfire, Skyliner, Rocket 88, Stingray, Barracuda, Cougar, all my friends were total car nuts back then, myself included. Don't much care what they're putting out now<<<

What the heck happened...???
