Are you trying to imply that Iomega would buy SyQuest?
My only question is how many actual shares of SYQT are floating
around. It seems to be around 70 million, but I've heard estimates
closer to 150 million. At $5 a share, that's 350 to 750 million for
SyQuest's products. I'm sure IOM or any other company could
develop comparable products for far less R&D dollars.

I don't believe Iomega wants anything SyQuest currently has enough that they would be willing to buy them out rather than create the product themselves. As far as what SyQuest would be worth in a take-over, I would guess something like half of what your thinking.
