He was already in Ukraine and it didn't bother Trumpty a bit. In fact, he made excuses for Russian occupying several Ukrainian provinces.

Bill,
Trump was president for four years, and guess what…. Putin didn’t go into Ukraine.
Correlation doesn't equal causation. Otherwise, you should blame Trump for COVID.

There are complicated questions to ask regarding whether PooTin would have invaded Ukraine if Trump were still president.

Unfortunately the level of discourse on this thread is too low for such nuance.

Speaking of complicated questions:

"You could argue that Russia invaded Ukraine because of it."

Kilmeade presses Biden spokesman on Pentagon's new findings on Afghanistan exit: 'Disaster' (msn.com)

These are the kinds of questions that should be asked when trying to figure out whether PooTin would have invaded Ukraine had Trump been president.

But nope. Trump, being the egotistical simpleton he is, continues to brag about the four years of "peace" that happened under his watch without explaining how he was able to achieve it.

All to foster the notion that his mere presence brings peace and stability to the entire world.

Here you go, Bill. The real nuanced answer to the question of why PooTin didn't invade Ukraine while Trump was president. Fast-forward to 8:20 ...

- PooTin believed that the West is in a state of decline, so the longer he waited to invade Ukraine, the better.

- PooTin actually found the Trump administration to be much tougher to deal with than what we would have guessed based on Trump's lovey-dovey comments about PooTin.

- PooTin believed that the Brandon administration would be much easier to run over.

- Trump couldn't get enough people within his administration to buy into the idea that PooTin is a swell guy.
