my husband and I are 81 and 80 respectively. we have received both Moderna vaccines; 3 Moderna boosters and the latest bivalent shot. and oh, our flu shot as well. from the coronavirus/covid-19 threat this morning: "older adults over age 65 have made up at least 81% of all deaths from covid according to the CDC. But recently they're making up an even bigger share and count for nearly 9 in 10 covid deaths according to an analysis by the Washington Post." I don't know whether you hold much stock in what either the CDC or Washington Post have to say, or indeed if the same statistic holds true in canada, but it will be interesting how each of us fare going forward.
