By the way I have said the general direction for CPQ is right. You will see NT systems powered with Alpha CPU manufactured by Samsnug everywhere few years down the road. Mecede won't be available till 1999 with uncertainty , while Alpha is here today in the market with MSFT back up and processed by Samsung. Alpha already win the time and market share. If you were Bill Gates, which one will you bet on ? Alpha or Mecede ? One is already in the market and sells, while Mecede is still in the design stage, and at least one year behind. So Alpha will be the main player of NT and Mecede will be the back up.
