I think Trump is in a difficult position. He’s either stuck in an echo chamber - or he needs to take risks and venture out to people who - too often - simply hate him. Maybe he hopes that they’ll learn to like him - or at least, hate less. Doesn’t look like that is happening. I’m hoping he won’t name Pompeo as his running mate. I may be wrong, but the man strikes me as a bully - and an angry one, at that. Could be dangerous in this screwed up world.
